Wagyu Kobe Beef in New York
The Kobe burger lunch special for $19 is the best deal in town and not on the menu!
$20 for Kobe burger, tater tots, wine & salad: what's not to like!
Kobe burger lunch deal for $19 is worth it. Fresh burger, tater-tots and start with a crisp ceasar salad
2. Yakiniku Futago
The hamideru kalbi is quite fatty & goes well with their over priced lettuce wrap. They have Miyazaki wagyu from time to time and it's the best! The garlic rice and 10 second beef is also a must try!
I love this place! Great wagyu and toro sushi
Uni wagyu rice
3. Megu New York
Very cool place. Crispy shrimp and edamame as an appetizer. Sushi and kobe beef for dinner, and cheese cake and creme brulée for dessert. :)
Try the MEGU Signature Kobe Beef Slices "Ishiyaki" (that means grilled on a river stone) which arrives at the table still on the stone, good and spectacular
Try the tasting menu. Kobe beef is exceptionally delicious and melts in your mouth. Sake tasting menu is good as well.
4. Yakiniku West
The best Yakiniku in town, Don't miss their Sunday Kobe beef Special
Try the Kobe Beef Plate - This rocks!!
Very good value for US Kobe beef
5. Cote
The wagyu was good but the butcher's feast was just not worth the money. Save yourself like $200 and go to Kang Ho Dong in Ktown
Wagyu and marinated steak are excellent choice.
The Butcher's Feast is an easy way to order for a bunch of people. Don't miss the Kimchi Wagyu "Paella"
6. Sakamai
Wagyu and uni hand roll !
Good for groups! Order a handful of thing of the menu to share. The octopus, mussels and wagyu hand roll are all really yummy
Small delicious plates. All the steaks were divine. Try the egg on egg on egg, wagyu beef and uni roll, filet mignon, pork steak
Wagyu beef was amazing. All the steak is cooked perfectly. The lobster Mac and cheese and crab cake are a must!
Try the Wagyu "Longbone" - As made-to-order as steaks come. Charred, warm red "rare" steak. It's a beautiful thing to behold
Experiencing food coma so excuse my curtness--crab cakes, lobster mac and cheese, wagyu longbone, and lemon cake.
8. Sojourn
The Kobe Beef Sliders are amazing. Skirt Steak too
The Brussels sprouts and the Kobe beef sliders are amazing!!
Wine, kobe sliders, mixed drinks, atmosphere
9. Manhatta
Danny Meyer pulled off an aspiring financier's wet dream without compromising food or wine. Get the cavatelli, the wagyu or lamb, and the date cake or soufflé.
Wagyu Kebab! Nice venue for an aperitivo
Food is spot on. Loved the rueben and wagyu coulotte on the menu the night we went. Also had a table with incredible views of manhattan and Brooklyn.
10. Sushi Azabu
Highlights were the fatty tuna and king salmon sashimi, butterfish grilled collar, smoked wagyu nigiri and fruit meringue roll for dessert. Everything was out of this world!
The wagyu beef is absolutely brilliant.
Faithful renditions of traditional sushi are a highlight. Also try tender Wagyu beef tataki or chawan mushi with crab. – Green Guide Editor
11. Rue 57
The baby ribs and the mini kobe beef burgers are delicious.
Kobe sliders & truffle fries, how can you go wrong?
Try the Kobe Beef Sliders with Cheese and Bacon! Delish!!!!
12. EN Japanese Brasserie
Expansive and a wee expensive. Really effing good cold tofu (housemade) and wagyu beef that dissolves on your tongue. $65 tasting menu available.
Wagyu beef was seared perfectly and beautifully presented. Highly recommend. As well as all the desserts!
silky handmade tofu tastes really good. Wagyu beef is very tender.
13. Tsurutontan
The spicy tan tan udon was great. The wagyu shabu udon was only ok.
Some modern fluff in the menu: US Wagyu doesn't mean much, udons don't go with crème. That aside, the traditional home style udons are great - sukiyaki or nabeyaki are my top two. Free extra noodles.
So many udon, its so hard to choose! But with their Tsurutontan udon and wagyu shabu curry udon you can't go wrong. Be sure to try their water cake! It's very popular in Japan.
Get the animal roll. (Korean style BBQ Kobe beef roll). And the yum yum roll.
Great relaxed atmosphere and awesome food; Kobe Beef Steamed Buns 'sliders' are fantastic and Ramen are great. The Hitachino Ginger goes great with anything Pork.
Great Kobe beef steamed buns
